Smoke-Free Policy

In accordance with New York State law, smoking is prohibited inside the Arena & Forum. Additionally, smoking is prohibited on Arena/Forum grounds. E-cigs, vapor cigarettes, etc. are also prohibited.

There is no smoking area available during events. In accordance with our NO REENTRY POLICY, if you exit the venue for any reason, you will not be allowed back in without purchasing another ticket.

Why did we eliminate the “smoking area” at the Arena?

• We have received many complaints from guests about second-hand smoke entering the building from the smoking area.
• The Surgeon General states that there is no safe level of exposure to second-hand smoke. Even brief exposures can have negative health consequences, triggering respiratory symptoms, including asthma attacks, especially in children.
• To comply with Broome County Executive Order 1-1999.
